As Oregonians for Wild Utah, we work to protect the wild lands and cultural landscape of Utah and the canyon country of the broader Colorado Plateau by engaging Oregonians through education, advocacy, outreach and cooperation with like-minded organizations.
We are a member of the Utah Wilderness Coalition, the collective of organizations across the country dedicated to protecting wilderness-quality Bureau of Land Management (BLM) public lands in Utah.
One of our core principles is active support for the pending Utah wilderness bill in Congress, America’s Red Rock Wilderness Act (ARRWA).
Membership in our informal group is free and open to all Oregon residents with an interest in Utah wilderness and a commitment to its preservation.
We are led by a small steering group of volunteer Oregonians and work closely with the Southern Utah Wilderness Association (SUWA).
